Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our services and website by ShineWise Cleaning Services ("we", "our", or "us") and our clients ("you", "your"). By booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and relevant state-based workplace safety regulations.
1. Service Booking & Availability

All services are subject to availability.

While we aim to fulfill all confirmed bookings, service provision is not guaranteed.

If ShineWise is unable to provide a service after your booking is accepted and payment has been made, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid in advance.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, illness, staff availability).
2. Client Obligations
To ensure safe and effective service delivery, the client agrees to:

Provide accurate service location details prior to the appointment.

Supply a property condition checklist if requested.

Disclose any hazards or safety risks (e.g. chemicals, pets, unsafe areas).

Secure or declare any valuables, fragile items, or high-value possessions prior to our arrival.

Provide clear access instructions to the premises (keys, codes, etc.) for scheduled services.
❗ ShineWise is not liable for damages, injuries, or incidents resulting from hazards or conditions that were not disclosed prior to the service.
3. Access to Premises

You are responsible for ensuring our cleaners have safe, legal, and uninterrupted access to the service area.

If we are unable to access the premises at the scheduled time, a call-out fee or cancellation charge may apply.
4. Payment Terms

All quoted prices are in AUD and inclusive of GST (where applicable).

Payment is required in advance or on completion, depending on the service type and booking agreement.

We accept card payments, bank transfers, and other approved payment methods.
5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

Refunds will be issued in full if ShineWise cancels a booking.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled service, a partial or full fee may be charged depending on our incurred costs.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee & Limitations

We strive to provide quality service. If you're unsatisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment for resolution.

Our satisfaction guarantee covers re-cleans in agreed areas but does not apply if:

The site was unsafe, obstructed, or not as described
-
There was insufficient time allocated to perform requested tasks
-
You failed to disclose specific expectations, hazards, or valuables

7. Liability & Insurance

ShineWise is fully insured for public liability and operates in compliance with Australian WHS (Work Health & Safety) laws.

We are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage
-
Damage caused by unreported hazards

Loss of unsecured valuables
-

All cleaners are trained and expected to work with care and professionalism.
8. Use of the Website
By using our website [www.shinewise.com.au], you agree not to misuse our contact forms, content, or booking system.
All content is owned by ShineWise or used under licence.
9. Privacy & Data
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We only use your data to deliver services and communicate with you — we never sell your data to third parties.
